This was originally written for the online Fanzine, Apocrypha. I don't even know if that zine is still available. But I love this story. It's the only L & O fic I ever wrote and, true to my personality, it has a fantasy/science fiction spin on it.

You do *not* have to have watched or liked Law and Order to understand this fic. It's completely AU and totally different from the show.

That said, please don't flame me because it isn't like the show. :-)
