Hi!

Alrighty, I was doing so well on the Club100 writing challenge. And darn it if I didn't get some weird head cold that left me so dizzy I could barely stand nevermind type. LOL.

So, I have to start all over.

Tomorrow will be my new Day 1.

I've alloted myself one floating day off per week so if I get too sick to write again I don't have to start the 100 days over.

In other news...just finished reading Match Me if You Can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Excellent book. Contemporary Romance normally makes my skin crawl, but this was so snarky and funny that it caught me from the first paragraph. I couldn't put it down.

I just started reading a good SF book that I suspect is supposed to be Young Adult, but it reads like a regular SF to me. It's called The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm by Nancy Farmer. The back cover blurb doesn't do the SF detail in the book justice. It's very detailed and well done so far. I'm only about a 1/4 through. I'll be looking up more of her work.

Did anyone see DW last Friday? The Forest of the Dead. Loved it! I can't believe how much I loved this two-parter. The ending was perfect. Perfect! To me. I wish I could write something so original and creative! I've always liked Doc 9 the best, but after this ep, I think Doc 10 is now running even with him, if not ahead by a bit.

And I like Donna. Didn't think I'd like her after Runaway Bride, but as a regular, she's my favorite new series companion yet...well, I liked Kylie Monogue's (sp?) character too.

Can't wait for DW and Torchwood and SGA to come back on.
